Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country music and songwriting gained prominence on television after she was cast as Alex during the final three seasons of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer's first country releases were featured in the One Tree Hill's episodes which helped propel her debut album of 2012 to Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. Her decade culminated with performances in Dancing with the Stars. Released in 2021 was The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer began acting in 2002, while she was a young teenager. She was born in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer has a background in the country genre. Kramer was a guest on episodes on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the series 2007-2008. Kramer would go on to appear as Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its finale season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer began her career with One Tree Hill in 2011. Her contract was signed with Elektra Records during this time and debuted the country-rock track "I Will Not Go Down" in an episode. It was later featured on her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The track was a part of the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She continued acting in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. Kramer released her second album Thirty One on Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. It was boosted by her Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album climbed to third place among the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. The month of September 2016 saw her appearance on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended with a 4th-place finish. Also, she scored an adult contemporary smash in the form of Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
